Nadeshda Brennicke comes from Freiburg, but grew up in Munich, Germany. 9 days before the end of April this year, she turned 37. She is an actress and a script writer. The love of the entertainment world saw her not complete her studies and she got into the modeling world first. It is these little assignments that helped her finance her acting studies. One of her first modeling assignments was as for Rolling Stones directed by Anthony Waller.
Her acting studies saw her turn of age, and she got her 1st movie role in the movie “Manta, Manta”. For couple of years she did no more acting work but decided to get into singing and released 3 singles. Love of fame saw her return in front of the camera, and so far she has over 70 appearances in front of the camera in movies and TV shows.
This year is one of the busiest for her with 5 movies coming or due to come out. Majority of the movies are for German audience, with only a handful at the beginning of the new century that were released for English or translated for English market. She also wrote and sang on couple of soundtracks of the shows she was involved in.
German Gong magazine put her on the cover pages of their issue in June ’05. In the early years of the last decade, she received 2 nominations by German TV Awards in the Best Supporting Actress category for Polizieruf 110: Silikon Walli (#31.5) and Hotte im Paradies.
She won an award by Adolf Grimme Awards in the Audience Award category in ’01 for her performance in Das Phantom. On a personal front, Nadeshda Brennicke’s parents are also involved in some form of art/performing and she is a mother to 13 year old boy Nikita. In the entertainment world, she is also known as Nadeshda Brennecke, Nadja T. Brennicke or Nadja Theresa Brennicke.
